After five years working as a substitute teacher in more than fifteen elementary and middle schools across the five clusters of District 4, Camille Christopher has seen firsthand both the strengths of our schools and the challenges students and teachers face each day.
Those experiences led her to run for School Board. Camille believes our schools must stay focused on strong academic foundations, meaningful support for teachers, and safe, well-run classrooms where students are able to learn and succeed.
Camille believes every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. Through her time working in classrooms across District 4, she has seen how important strong academic foundations are for helping students build confidence and reach their full potential.
She believes our schools must stay focused on effective instruction and providing the support students need to succeed academically.
Teachers work incredibly hard for their students. Camille has seen firsthand how much dedication teachers bring to their classrooms every day.
She believes teachers need meaningful support from school leadership, including the time and resources necessary to plan lessons, work with colleagues, and focus on helping students learn.
Students learn best in classrooms that are safe, structured, and focused on learning. Camille believes schools should maintain clear expectations that allow teachers to teach and students to focus on their education.
When classrooms are well-run and teachers are supported, schools become places where students can grow and succeed.
